Nice to see you here again! Well let's start with the begining. First of all, our last season was a poor one, with just the eleven place. Was an incredibly (odd) season, with four teams who was retired from championship: Modelu and Forex (in the first half of the season) then Progresul (who was relegated by the Romanian Federation - FRF - because of financial problems and then Lotus Baile Felix (ex-Stiinta Bacau). The financial crisis are very powerful in romanian football. Until now, another team want to quit: CS Buftea! Dunarea Giurgiu will back from holiday on 6th July; we need some new-blood because eight players will play for another teams. Today, a new relegated team (from first division) Farul Constanta want our coach. I hope Marin Barbu will stay with us because in the next season will be relegated 5 teams from each of two groups, because of the new structure of Liga 2 championship from 2010/2011 season! I am a little bit upset because Dunav miss once again the promotion who is wanted by a whole city (Pyce one). Maybe in the next season you will fight with more enthusiasm. About our new champion... was a big surprise for all football fans; but they was very good, with împlinit tactic, a nice football and a lot of ambition. Because theit stadium is too little for the Champions League matches, they have three options: Steaua Bucharest stadium, CFR Cluj stadium or... one pitch from Austria! That people give a lot of money for Urziceni to play in there! One of the players who won the title with Unirea Urziceni played for Dunarea Giurgiu in 2006/2007 season (Raul Rusescu). Another good news is that our forward, Stefan Iordache (who scored some goals against Dunav in the friendly matches) was the goalscorer of the whole Liga2, with 18 goals! About FC Timisoara, yes, that 6 points was returned; I think this was normally, because they won the points on the pitch and they have a great season. There are also 1 - 2 unsure teams in our eastern second league. For the moment the situation at Dunav is stabil, but I cann't see any ambitions for first league. The only good think is, except Spartak Varna there is no other team defenitly wanting to play in first level. Well... the officials from Dunarea tell the dates will be 18 and 29 July; if you said you have a game on 18th it is possible to have another day for our first match. You go on trip in every July? Last year was the same "problem". Our second league championship will begin on 15th August, and it will be the same composition like the last season: 2 groups x 18 teams. The 5 teams will have to relegate because of the thing from 2010/2011 in Second Division we'll have 2 groups with 16 teams each-other.
